The New Year has delivered more searchable index entries to the Registry of Deeds Index Project Ireland.The most recent update brings the total number of entries in the main database to 333,591, extracted from 36,198 memorials of deed.
Additionally, the Grantor Index has seen additions; more than 33,000 entries can now be searched.
Nick Reddan FIGRS, who manages the Project, says he has also made tweaks to the search options of the Townland Index. You'll find there are now some sort options available.
All the records held in the online database are contributed by volunteers and are free to search.
