Genetic Genealogy Ireland returns to Belfast in February

Maurice Gleeson, the organiser of the Genetic Genealogy Ireland (GGI) conference, has advised IrishGenealogyNews that the all-things-DNA get-together will return to the ICC Waterfront Belfast next month.

As previously, GGI will be an integral part of Back To Our Past Belfast, which will be making its third annual visit to Northern Ireland on Friday 14 February and Saturday 15 February (10am to 5pm, both days).

The GGI lecture programme has been drawn up and includes 12 presentations from specialist DNA speakers. The bare bones of the programme is below (click/tap the image for enlarged view) and Maurice will publish more detail about the speakers and the content of their talks later this month. His latest blogpost about the conference sets the scene.

The main BTOP lecture programme, which covers traditional genealogy, is not yet finalised but will, presumably, be added to the organiser's website (https://backtoourpast.ie/) in due course.
