Tracing your Irish Ancestors conference: 15–22 June

The Ulster Historical Foundation (UHF) is to host another Tracing your Irish Ancestors conference this summer: 15 to 22 June.

With its mix of assisted research in Belfast & Dublin archives and escorted tours to historic sites, the conference aims to help researchers trace their Irish and Scots-Irish ancestors and learn about their lives and migration experiences. In addition, researchers learn about the history of Ulster through its ancient sites and enjoy the region's spectacular scenery.

Each day of the conference presents delegates with a choice of assisted research in the archives with the UHF's team of experienced genealogists or an excursion to a place of historic interest, including Dublin, Giant's Causeway, Derry, Donegal and Titanic Belfast.

The full programme, costs and other details are now available on the UHF website, AncestryIreland.com. There's also an Early Bird discount for those who book before the end of January.
