Dromana 800, a celebration of the Fitzgerald family and the community in which they've lived for eight centuries, will be getting underway in County Waterford on Thursday 2 July. It has an interesting mix of social and cultural events lined up, but I particularly want to highlight the genealogy feature on the afternoon of Sunday 5 July.From 12Noon until 5pm, one-to-one family history consultations with some of the regions best-known genealogists will be available at Villierstown.You can book online to be sure of your slot or take pot luck on the day.
