A Melting Down Conference will be held at Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff next week.
Starting on the evening of Friday 10 August and continuing with a full-day programme the next morning, Saturday 11 August, the three themes of Emigration, Exile and Place will be explored in a series of lectures as well as through music, song and performance.
