9 days of free access to Ancestry's US military records

Starting tomorrow (Friday 8 November) at 7pm EST and running for nine full days, Ancestry.com will offer free access to the world’s largest US military records collection.

The collection holds 260 million US military records, including draft cards, soldier pension indexes and much more, and covers all 50 states and nearly 400 years of American history. Check out the full list of the featured record sets here.

You'll need to have a registered account with Ancestry. If you don't already have one, it's easy (and free) to set one up, just click on Sign In and follow the links to register.

The free access period will run until 11:59pm EST on Sunday 17 November.

NOTE: It's live!
