RootsIreland.ie has warned researchers of limited access to its database tomorrow evening.
Essential maintenance and upgrading work to its server will be carried out between 8:30pm and 9:30pm (Irish time), Wednesday 2 October.
UPDATE, 3 October: I'm not sure how well the Wednesday evening session went, but the managers of RootsIreland have advised a second evening of maintenance and upgrading work for tonight. Start time is again 8:30pm. No end time is provided, however, just a hope to have the service back up and running as quickly as possible. .
