Disruption at National Archives until 24 Dec.

Internal works to extend shelving capacity at the National Archives of Ireland in Bishop Street started today. The disruption will cause some archives to be unavailable until 24 December.

The following archives will not be available for inspection throughout the period:

All District Court archives
High Court cause books and Indexes 1922-1971
High Court files 1963-70

Additionally, archives transferred in 2010 will become unavailable for inspection from next Monday until 24 December. A schedule can be consulted in the Reading Room.
