The National Archives of Ireland has advised that its Reading Room will be closed to the public for three days from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 September.
As a result, the NAI's free walk-in Genealogy Advisory Service will also not be operating.
The closure will facilitate essential upgrading of the NAI's IT systems.
All being well, normal opening hours (Mon-Fri 10am–5pm) and services should resume on Monday 26 September.
