Genealogists at the heritage centre within Rothe House, Parliament Street, Kilkenny, have transcribed some 9,500 County Kilkenny records. These have today been added to the RootsIreland database.
They are as follows:
- Thomastown RC baptisms, 1900 to 1910 – 567 records
- Slater’s Directory, 1856 – 982 records
- Bassett’s Directory, 1884 – 7955 records
The Slater’s and Bassett’s directories contain the names of county and public officials, clergy, professional and business people, tradesmen and craftworkers.
