Seasonal offers from Ancestry

Ancestry UK/IE, USA, Canada and Australia/NZ are offering free access to some of their most popular collections. You can see the list of the collections here. While none is specifically aimed at Irish family history, many will be useful for chasing down ancestors who left Ireland.

The access will expire tomorrow, 29 December. Sorry for the late notification; it seems to have been available for a couple of days but I've only just seen it promoted on Twitter.

Ancestry.com.au has two more offers:

• 20% off the price (excl shipping and taxes) of AncestryDNA until 3 January 11:50AEDT. This brings the basic cost of a test kit down to AUD$119.
  
  
• 40% off the price of an annual UK Heritage Plus membership. This brings the price of the 12-month sub down to $129.00 (from $215.40). This package provides access to all Ancestry's Australian, New Zealand, UK and Ireland records. This offer expires at 11:59 AEDT on 3 January.
