Resources from six counties donated to IGP Archives in June

In June, nine packages of Irish family history resources were donated by researchers to the online and free-to-access Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives. Made up of records, headstone photos and transcribed inscriptions, the packages will be of interest to those with ancestors in six counties, as shown below.

The additions took the total count of headstone photos in the archive over the 160,000 milestone. It's important to note, though, that while most databases count the individuals recorded in the inscriptions, IGPArchives counts only the headstone photos.

St Patrick's graveyard in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, is
now fully photographed and transcribed. The image above

With multiple names appearing on so many memorials in the burial grounds of Ireland, the total number of individuals recorded in the IGPArchive collection will be a good few times more than 160,000!
