The second edition of Clann, the newsletter of the Irish Family History Foundation, confirms that more County Clare records will be added to RootsIreland.ie this year, along with a first collection from County Carlow. The latter will be Roman Catholic baptism, marriage and burial records.

Also included in this edition are some stories from real cases researched by the IFHF's network of genealogy centres, updates on recent developments and additions to the site (all of which have been reported here on Irish Genealogy News), and a look forward to some of the events planned for later this year.

There's also news of an initiative involving Wicklow Family History Centre – the launch of Our Wicklow Heritage – which I'll be reporting on separately.
