PRONI workshops aimed at beginner family historians

http://www.nidirect.gov.uk/go-on-ni-eventsDuring Northern Ireland's Get Online Week (Go On NI), the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) will be offering free practical workshops to help people learn some IT skills, get a hands-on introduction to searching archives on the internet, and enjoy a guided tour of PRONI's research areas. The sessions are aimed primarily at those wanting to explore their family history.

Each workshop will last for 2 hours, beginning at 10.00am and 1.30pm on Monday 12 October , Tuesday 13 October , Wednesday 14 October and Friday 16 October.

PRONI is a 10-15 minute walk from Titanic Quarter Railway Station and can be reached via Metro 26 from Belfast City Centre.
