South Dublin talks set in stone

Details just received (having missed my first-half round-up of November events) of an interesting evening of talks next Tuesday (15th) that may be of interest to those with a Dublin connection.

The Foxrock Local History Club
will be presenting two talks, as follows:

Public Sculpture on O’Connell Street, a short talk with Tony Suttle
Half a century at the Stone (Stoneworking in South County Dublin), main lecture with Nicholas Ryan and Philip O’ Neill.

The talks will get underway at 8pm at Foxrock Pastoral Centre, behind Foxrock Church, at the junction of Kill Lane & Bray Rd. All welcome. Admission € 4.00.
